  • Author: Mila Clarke Buckley
  • Total Time: 47 minutes
  • Yield: 4 heads of garlic. 1x

Description

The best thing you can do to garlic to make it taste wonderful – also, probably the easiest.

Ingredients

Scale

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 400°F.
  2. Slice the tops off of your head of garlic and place your garlic heads in aluminum foil.
  3. Generously drizzle the garlic with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and then close the foil and  bake for 45 to 60 minutes until the garlic is jammy, soft, and  a bit golden brown in color.

Notes

  • You can refrigerate this for up to a month.
  • When you slice off the tops, you can add them to your foil packet if they still have garlic cloves in them. Those bits will brown a little faster and give the roasted garlic more depth.
