Scale
- 12 Shrimp (8 oz of jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined)
- 160g of Pappardelle pasta
- 2 teaspoons of old bay seasoning
- Juice of one whole lemon
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- Salt
- Garnish: chopped parsley
Instructions
- You’ll need two pans – a skillet for making your shrimp and sauce and a pot for boiling water.
- Start by filling your pot with water and salting it (you want it to be murky like sea salt).
- Put it on your stove, on high and bring it to a rolling boil.
- While that comes up to a boil, prep your shrimp, by peeling and deveining them.
- Next add butter, lemon juice, old bay seasoning, and garlic to your pan, letting it simmer on medium-high heat.
- Next add your cream, and let it simmer a little longer.
- Check your water, if it’s boiling, you’ll want to drop in your pasta and cook according to the package directions.
- When your pasta is almost done cooking, drop your shrimp into the old bay lemon butter sauce.
- Cook your shrimp through (2-3 minutes on each side).
- Then, drop your pasta in with the lemon butter pasta sauce and shrimp, and give it a toss.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve!
