after your diabetes diagnosis,
it's normal to feel
it's overwhelming. I've been there, too.
let's be diabuddies
I felt all of those same things when I was first diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and then re-diagnosed with LADA (Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults).
I was frustrated, angry, misunderstood, overwhelmed, and just over the whole thing. I didn’t want to feel that way anymore. And I don't want you to, either.
Who wants to feel like they can’t eat the foods they enjoy? Or that they aren’t working hard enough for in-range blood sugar numbers? In the beginning, I struggled to find approachable resources to help me manage diabetes on a day-to-day basis.
So, I created this diabetes blog as a FREE resource to help you get unstuck.
So let’s talk about food, self-care, and diabetes topics that sometimes feel like they’re off-limits. This is an open and safe space for you.
I'm glad you're here.
