Even with type 2 diabetes and managing my blood sugar, I sometimes feel like incorporating a treat into my day.

If I have a craving for something, I don’t ignore it – especially if I know I’ve been careful in counting carbs during my day.

Ripened mango sliced up with Tajin, lime, and red onion is a favorite of mine. It’s a nice little tangy, spicy, salty, sweet bite. It just combines the best of everything.

When I found out that Pinkberry was teaming up with Tajin to introduce my fave in the form of fro-yo, I had to go try it for myself.

I love the idea of the mango flavor concentrated into the frozen yogurt, and then a healthy sprinkle of Tajin on top of the fresh fruit.

I topped mine with mango popping boba for some extra mango flavor (and excitement! I love popping boba).

If you get yourself a small with just the mango froyo and Tajin, you’re looking at around 17 grams of carbs for your treat – and it’s filling.
