M&S Seafood, Steaks & Oysters, formerly McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks, introduces new modern décor, signage, and logo to its Uptown Park location in Houston.

M&S has become a leader in sustainable fresh fish, Oysterology™, beyond organic vegetables, and a unique tableside mixology experience.

The updates to the restaurant’s interior space offer a light and inviting atmosphere.

The new design features white marble walls with copper accents, modern lighting and music, and revitalized bar area adding additional seating for one of Houston’s most popular happy hour destinations.

New exterior signage introduces the new logo and branding that will be rolled out to other Houston area locations by the end of 2019.

“It was time for McCormick & Schmick’s to modernize our look and logo,” says Howard Cole, Senior Vice President, and COO, Landry’s Restaurant Division.

“We have a great new menu and mixology program that is geared towards sustainability, guest experience and engagement while delivering exciting new flavors and textures.”

“In renovating this space, our goal was to make this location one of the most comfortable and inviting dining settings in Houston,” he says.

The new menus feature an array of delicious items including the brand’s inaugural Oysterology program, a variety of raw and hot oysters with innovative toppings and flavors.

The M&S signature oysters, Johnny Shucks, are harvested from a proprietary oyster bed in the Chesapeake Bay, practicing restorative oyster farming.

Adding to the innovative seafood program, guests will find fresh and sustainable fish such as Pacifico True-Striped Bass, Sixty South Pure Antarctic Salmon, Hawaiian Seafood, and Open Blue Caribbean Cobia.

Guests can also enjoy savory sides from the M&S vegetable program, which incorporates beyond organic vegetables from the award-winning Chef’s Garden in Milan, Ohio.

All of these new programs focus on seafood and produce that is not only healthier for the guest but healthier for the planet.

Voted “#1 Happy Hour in America” by USA Today, guests can enjoy a savory happy hour menu of shrimp avocado toast, open blue cobia tacos, ahi tuna poke bowl, Calamari “fritto misto,” paired with select spirits, wine, cocktails, beer and more, which will be available daily from 3:30 – 7 p.m.

Located at 1151-01 Uptown Park Blvd in the Uptown Park Shopping Center, M&S Seafood, Steaks and Oysters is open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can contact the restaurant at (713) 840-7900 for reservations or visit www.mccormickandschmicks.com.
