I had my first Saturn Cocktail while I was visiting Denver, Colorado. As with a lot of dishes and cocktails, I try on vacation, I immediately wanted to know how to make this cocktail. Especially because it contains one of my favorite ingredients: Passionfruit.

This blog post will give you step-by-step instructions for making this delicious cocktail at home.

So grab your shaker and let’s get started!

Ingredients in a Saturn Cocktail

Why use Truvia Sweet Complete Granulated All-Purpose Sweetener to sweeten the drink?

If you’ve been a long-time reader, you’re probably aware that I love using Truvia Sweet Complete All-Purpose Granulated Sweetener. I’ve been using it for years in baking, cooking, and cocktails.

I find that it doesn’t alter the flavor of whatever I’m making, and it always dissolves perfectly. It’s super versatile – I’ve used it in both sweet and savory dishes.

Truvia Sweet Complete All Purpose Granulated Sweetener is made with stevia leaf extract and is zero calories per serving.

It’s a granulated sweetener that can be used cup-for-cup in place of sugar. I especially like using it in this recipe, since the small amounts of Orgeat and Falernum have a level of sweetness. This helps me keep the overall sugar in the beverage lower.

Instructions

  1. In a blender cup, add gin, passionfruit liqueur, orgeat, falernum, lemon juice, Truvia Sweet Complete Granulated All-Purpose Sweetener, and ice.
  2. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Pour into a cocktail glass, and you can dress it up with edible flowers, or dried orange.

Notes

Most of these ingredients are available at your local liquor store. If passionfruit juice or fresh passionfruit are challenging to find, you can sub for part pineapple juice, and part orange juice for a similar flavor. Just be sure there’s no sugar added.
