Math nerds, UNITE! I’m not a math nerd, but Pi Day is among us, and I don’t know about you but I’m always up for a good pie where I can get one. I created this list as a part of my Houston Food Guide, and I hope it helps you celebrate Pi Day in our own style!
What the heck is Pi Day?
Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π. Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π. To celebrate, most people pick up their favorite pie, and probably don’t even really think about the number too much! In 2009, the United States House of Representatives supported the designation of Pi Day. I support it too. I don’t like math, but I do love foodie holidays.
