Making a fruit-based simple syrup doesn’t require much work, and that’s why I love making fresh ones for my drinks and coffees.

For this mango simple syrup, I used Truvia Sweet Complete Granulated All-Purpose Sweetener, which sweetened my recipe perfectly without adding extra calories.

Truvia is one of my favorites to cook with because it performs just like sugar in recipes and I always know what to expect.

Here’s how to make my mango simple syrup. Also, be sure to check out the video, and printable recipe!

How to make Mango Rosemary Sugar-Free Simple Syrup

In a saucepan, add water, mango and Truvia Sweet Complete Granulated together.

Let it come to a boil, and then add a sprig of rosemary, which will help infuse the flavor into the simple syrup.

Once the mixture has boiled, and the fruit is completely soft, remove it from the heat, and let it cool to room temperature.

Strain the mixture, and add it to a bottle for dispensing.

This mixture yields one cup of syrup, and can be stored at room temperature for one week.

  • 1 ripened mango (2 cups), diced
  • 1 cup of filtered water
  • 1 cup Truvia Sweet Complete Granulated All-Purpose Sweetener
