You guys know that I’m constantly trying to find ways to save time -especially lately. It’s the busiest time of year at work for me, and I’m sometimes not leaving until the sun sets.
When I get home, I still have to sometimes walk the dog, do the dishes, work some more, and tidy up just to get caught up.
So when H-E-B shared their Meal Simple options with me, I kinda freaked out, because while time is of the essence – so is my health. Being diabetic has meant that I have to be really careful with the carb content in food so that I keep my blood glucose at a good level.
It’s also going to change the way that I cook dinners for a while. Having a stash of these pre-prepared options when I get home means that I don’t have to worry about grabbing fast food, and throwing off my day.
